Our Events

At Knockenhair Hospitality, we run a variety of Pop-up events throughout the year. Our events include Pop-Up Restaurants and Boozy Afternoon Tea as well as Pop-Up Cafes and Restaurants at some of the biggest events in the country, so there really is something for everyone.

 

Saturday 13th June - Lockerbie Gala

Our Burger Box will be back in McJerrow Park for Lockerbie Gala this year and we can't wait for the first event of the season

 

Saturday 27th June - Lochmaben Gala

Our Burger Box will be back at Lochmaben Primary School for Lochmaben Gala this year and we look forward to another busy day.

 

Saturday 4th July - Penpont Gala

New for 2026, our Burger Box will be in Gladstone Park for Penpont Gala for the first time. We can't wait to add a new event to our diary and we hope for a busy day.

 

Saturday 11th July - Thornhill Gala

We will be back in Thornhill Community centre for Thornhill Gala this year. We will be serving up soup, sandwiches, homemade cakes and hot and cold drinks. Stop by for a hearty lunch or an afternoon sweet treat.

 

Saturday 8th August - Dunscore Gala

We can't wait to be back at Dunscore Gala this year which is a favourite in our diary. We will once again be there with our Burger Box and we will also be in the Marquee with soup and sandwiches made fresh to order, we will also have homemade cakes, snacks and hot and cold drinks as usual, so if you plan on attending Dunscore Gala this year, make sure you stop by one of our stands where we are guarenteed to have something to suit everyone.

 

Saturday 15th August - Sanquhgar Riding of the Marches

Sanquhar Riding of the Marches is another favourite in our diary. We will be back in Sanquhar Town Hall serving up Breakfast from 6am - 11am, we will then be serving a full menu of hot meals from 12pm - 4pm. We will be serving hot rolls, homemade cakes and drinks all day and we look forward to serving you all.

 

Friday 25th September - Sunday 4th October - Wigtown Book Festival

We are absolutely delighted to announce that we have once again been awarded the contract to run the Festival Cafe for Wigtown Book Festival 2026. This event has established itself as a firm favourite and we look forward to catching up with with lots of familiar faces this year. We will have a full menu including breakfast, lunches, hot and cold drinks and homemade cakes and snacks. Check back soon to see the full menu.
